Course Description

Course will cover how to develop applications that can be distributed over the Internet. It will focus on the core technologies provided by JAVA (multi-threaded applications, Sockets and Streams, and Security). To a lesser extent, the course also will examine other Internet methods/tools, such as CGI programming, CORBA, DCOM, XML, and Internet/Intelligent Agents. Students will be expected to write Client/Server applications in JAVA.
