Course Description
Course will cover the basic GIS concepts as implemented by MapInfo GIS software. Topics covered will include database management, data entry, digitizing, image registration, geocoding, and introductory spatial analysis. The goal of this course is to make the student proficient enough with the MapInfo platform to implement the basic GIS needs of the typical workplace.
