Course Description

Identifies and seeks to understand assumptions in theories and in practice as they relate to women as criminals, victims and criminal justice practitioners. Biological, psychological, and sociological theories will be analyzed, and the implications of such theories will be discussed. Women's reactions to both the theories and practices will be examined.
