Course Description
Course is designed to provide the student with a basic understanding of the demographic make-up of emerging new ethnic groups within various communities (municipalities) of the Merrimack Valley. The course is especially relevant to individuals who are working in a field that is undergoing rapid changes in the client/consumer make-up (e.g., teachers, social workers, law enforcement, or health professions). Emerging ethnic groups include: Latinos, Russians, Southeast Asians, and Haitians to mention only four.
