Course Description

This course is designed to provide the student with a basic understanding of malpractice, with a specific emphasis on the field of nursing. Topics of study and discussion will include an overview of the malpractice process and what to do if you are sued as well as risk management and ways to minimize the risk of being sued. The course will include case studies and a review of recent court decisions.
