Course Description
Mechanical properties of materials will be emphasized. The main theme of this class will be structure, property, processing relations. The topics covered include atomic bonding, crystalline and non-crystalline structure, equilibrium diagrams, phase transformation, metals, ceramics, polymers, composite materials and materials selection.
