Course Description
Serves as a one-semester terminal course with emphasis on the engineering aspects of mechanics. Topics include vectors, static equilibrium, rigid and deformable solids; stress and strain under various loading conditions, mechanical properties of materials.
Prerequisites & Notes
- Prerequisites: PHYS.1440. Corequisite: 92.234. Not open to students majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
