Course Description
The principles and practical applications of analytical methods for examining ceramics,electronic materials, polymers, and biological materials are covered. Students learn the practical and theoretical use of analytical instruments such as the transmission electron microscope, scanning electron microscope, secondary ion mass spectroscopy, electron spectroscopy chemical analysis for materials research and for problem solving in materials science.
