Course Description
Theoretical aspects of digital systems from a mathematical perspective. The theories of switching, automata and formal languages are developed as the basis for the discussion of the theories of computability and computational complexity. Extensive analysis is given to the most common functions that occur in digital systems including arithmetic and controller structures.
