Course Description
Physical properties of soils and how they relate to the movement of water, solutes, and contaminants in saturated and unsaturated soils. Methods of measuring and characterizing physical properties of soils. Applications to environmental problems, including land-based disposal systems, hazardous waste site investigantion and remediation, and soil-water management.
