Course Description
This course uses an interdisciplinary approach to provide an overview of contemporary health issues which affect theophysical, psychological and social well being of children and their families. The course focuses on the 10 Leading Health Indicators identified in Healthy People 2010: Physical Activity, Overweight & Obesity, tobacco Use, Substance Use, Responsible Sexual Behavior, Mental Health, Injury & Violence, Environmental Quality, Immunization and Access to Health Care
