Course Description

This nursing course focuses on the principles of clinical pharmacology and the mechanisms of drug action which determine therapeutic efficacy in clinical practice. Content includes basic pathophysiology, clinical pharmacology and monitoring parameters. Emphasis is given to implications of patient safety, patient diversity and patient teaching.
