Course Description
Analysis of the theory and practice of financial
intermediation by intitutions in the financial
markets, including debt, equity, and foreign
exchange markets. Study of the role of financial
intermediaries including commercial banks,
investment banks, and brokers. Other topics
include financial market policy making and
regulation in financial markets with an aim to
understanding the rationale and nature of such
policies and regulations.
