Applying into a Graduate Degree Program
You can apply anytime. There are no deadlines. Applications are accepted throughout the year.
All applicants must submit:
- An application
- An application fee ($75)
- A statement of purpose
- Two letters of recommendation
- A resume
- Official transcripts
- International Students: International transcripts demonstrating completion of a degree require a credential evaluation from a NACES agency such as:
- Official test scores
- GMAT/GRE not required
- If English is NOT the national language in your home country, please submit one of the following English proficiency tests:
- TOEFL: minimum acceptable score is 100
- IELTS: minimum acceptable score is 7.0
- Duolingo: minimum acceptable score is 135
- ASC English: minimum acceptable level is 6
- Pearson Test of English: minimum acceptable score is 72
Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.000 GPA from an accredited institution
- Undergraduate Prerequisites: Undergraduate non-business majors who have not previously taken and earned a grade of B- or better in undergraduate courses in Financial Accounting, Business Financial Analysis and Microeconomics must do so prior to applying to this program. This requirement can be satisfied by taking the following three UMass Lowell courses: ECON.2010 Microeconomics, ACCT.5010 Financial Accounting and FINA.5010 Business Financial Analysis. Please note: These prerequisite courses cannot be counted towards the master's degree
F1 student visas may be available for full time on-campus students.
