Applying into a Graduate Degree Program
This program's priority deadlines are:
- March 1 for Summer and Fall admission
- December 30 for Spring admission
Applications received after the deadline, if there are openings, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
All applicants must submit:
- An application
- An application fee ($50)
- A statement of purpose
- Two letters of recommendation
- A resume
- Official transcripts
- International Students: International transcripts demonstrating completion of a degree require a credential evaluation from a NACES agency such as:
- Official test scores
- GRE not required
- If English is NOT the national language in your home country, please submit one of the following English proficiency tests:
- TOEFL: minimum acceptable score is 79
- IELTS: minimum acceptable score is 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum acceptable score is 115
- ASC English: minimum acceptable level is 6
- PTE: minimum acceptable score is 53
Admission Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing with a minimum 3.000 GPA (3.300 GPA preferred) from an accredited institution
- National certification as an APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) or board eligible for APRN certification or current RN license
- 500 master's or post-master's practicum hours
- Applicants who are not APRNs must provide evidence of practice hour equivalents from their master's program
- Virtual interview with nursing faculty
Information for Out-of-State Students
International students are not able to complete this program online. F1 student visas are not issued for this program.
