About Us

Welcome to the home of the UMass Lowell Women’s Leadership Conference and our series of Women’s Leadership Conversations. Our in-person conference was founded in 2016 by Chancellor Jacqueline Moloney in her inaugural year as the first woman to lead UMass Lowell and brings together leading women in business, education, government and the nonprofit sector to share their expertise on everything from finding mentors and negotiating salaries to building influence and leading a healthy and productive life. Building on the momentum of our annual sold-out conference, we launched our virtual Conversations series in 2020 to allow us to continue to gather as a community online. These sessions are 90 minutes long and are highly interactive with many participants keeping cameras on and engaging through the online chat functionality.

Both our in-person conference and our online sessions kick off with remarks by Chancellor Moloney, a national pioneer in higher education innovation and long-time advocate for women’s education, empowerment, and leadership.

Our menu of sessions is designed to engage women in all stages of their careers, from aspiring and emerging leaders to experienced practitioners.

We look forward to seeing you online and in-person. Welcome to the UMass Lowell Women’s Leadership Conference and Conversations.

Sincerely,

UMass Lowell Women’s Leadership Conference Co-Chairs
