Course Description
The principles and practical applications of analytical methods for examining ceramics, electronic materials, polymers, and biological materials are covered. Students learn the practical and theoretical use of analytical techniques such as transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, secondary ion mass spectroscopy, electron spectroscopy chemical analysis for materials research and for problem solving in materials science.
