Course Description
This course focuses on practical and effective techniques and concepts to aid choral directors in rehearsing and performing choral literature of various styles suitable for grades K through 12. Topics will include: choral tone, intonation and tuning, rehearsal techniques, conducting the ensemble, rhythmic considerations, linear and chordal textures, repertoire and programming decisions.
