Course Description
Topics to be addressed in this course are Broadband ISDN and SONET concepts; Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) basic principles; ATM Adaptation layer, ATM signaling; PNNI specifications; ATM physical interfaces; Switching ATM cells; ATM traffic management; LAN emulation and ATM migration; IP over ATM; IP switching; and Gigabit Ethernet.
