Course Description
Linear algebra is a branch of mathematics that studies systems of linear equations, matrix theory, and vector spaces. This subject is fundamental to most scientific disciplines, including pure and applied mathematics, natural and social sciences, and engineering. This course is intended to be a first introduction to the fundamentals of linear algebra. Topics covered in this course include systems of linear equations, vectors and linear independence, linear transformations, matrix algebra, subspaces, determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, orthogonality.
