Course Description

This course will cover the elements of a Geographic Information System commonly found in basic and mid-level GIS applications. This will include file organization, data entry including digitizing and image registration, geocoding, Structured Query Language (SQL) applications, map algebra and statistical model functions, as well as general issues related to GIS implementation and GIS product presentation in organizational settings.
