Course Description

Provides students with an in-depth understanding of complementary forms of dispute resolution, such as mediation, negotiation, and arbitration. Students will learn about the widespread applications of alternative dispute resolution from divorce mediation to labor arbitration to large environmental disputes. Training in negotiation, mediation, and interpersonal skills is stressed through role playing.
