Course Description

Pharmacology is an introduction to the chemistry, biochemistry and physiological actions of various pharmaceuticals. Fundamental concepts will be stressed and will include a discussion of drug receptors, drug receptor interactions, pharmacokinetics, enzyme induction, drug metabolism, drug safety and effectiveness and idiosyncratic reactions.
