Course Description
Provides hands-on investigations of microorganisms associated with human disease and impacting public health, reinforcing concepts introduced in the lecture component. Students will develop practical skills in the collection, handling, and analysis of clinically important microbes, and will gain experience with standard laboratory methods used in diagnostic and clinical microbiology.
