Course Description

This course introduces the dynamics of manufacturing systems and frameworks of production planning and control. Topics covered in this course include demand forecasting, aggregate planning, inventory control, production control, and lean manufacturing. The objective of the course is to help students understand basic concepts and principles in production systems and prepare themselves to deal with various problems in production management.
