Parking Information

Any student parking before 3:30 pm requires a parking decal, which can be ordered online at MyParking.uml.edu. In addition to that, a UCard, which can be obtained at the UCAPS Office in the South Dining Hall, is required to open the gates. After 3:30 pm no permits are required, and most gates are raised. Students are permitted to park in any open commuter or staff lot after 3:30 pm. Parking is never permitted in residential lots, and parking in the Cumnock and Solomont visitor lots is restricted until 5:00 pm.

A full listing of parking locations can be found at www.uml.edu/parkinglocations.

Students and faculty should not compromise public safety by blocking access of fire lanes, ambulance and other emergency vehicles. Students and faculty should not park in spaces for disabled persons unless they display the proper license plate or placard. Student and faculty cars will be towed and/or ticketed for violations. Please park in assigned University lots, as parking on city streets is subject to ticketing and/or towing by the Lowell Police Department. Please call the UCAPS Office at (978) 934-2800 or visit www.uml.edu/UCAPS for additional information.
