Information may be collected through email, phone, text message or written correspondence, but it is not used to contact individual users of the site against their wishes. Online Courses and Student Tracking

UMass Lowell uses Blackboard Learn, Blackboard Collaborate and Canvas for its online course learning management systems. Both of these tools require the use of cookies. SMS Terms and Conditions

UMass Lowell Division of Graduate, Online & Professional Studies uses SMS messages to communicate about application and enrollment deadlines, event reminders, scholarships, registration, and other information important to applicants, new students, and current students. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition to buy any goods or services. We may text you up to four times per month depending on your student status and associated actions.

Prospective students may opt in to SMS messages by emailing UMass Lowell GPS at gps@uml.edu by calling 978-934-2474.

Text Messaging Costs

Message and data rates may apply. When you opt in to receive SMS messages, you are responsible for any carrier fees such as data plan charges, text messaging charges, tolls, out-of-area roaming, and other charges. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
