UMass Lowell requires that any student taking an on-campus or hybrid course provide proof of COVID vaccination. The school-wide vaccine mandate applies regardless of degree or credit status. The university also highly recommends getting vaccine booster shots for those who are eligible.
If you register for an on-campus or hybrid course, you must submit vaccine documentation before classes start. Create your student health portal and upload your COVID-19 vaccine documentation. Your health portal allows for secure communication to and from Health Services regarding protected health information. If you do not submit COVID-19 vaccination documentation, you will have a registration hold placed on your student account.
Please allow 5-7 business days for your records to be verified once you have uploaded your documentation to the student health portal.
