Course Description

This course focuses on the primary tools used to navigate the Internet from a Windows desktop: e-mail and the web browsers. In addition, this course covers many of the other applications of the Internet: ftp, listserve, newsgroups, chat, search engines, and portals. Students will complete hands-on exercises, including construction of their personal web page. Not for computer science majors.
