Course Description
Career Exploration & Planning is designed to provide students with a structured, supportive environment for exploring career paths and identifying strategies to prepare for their post-graduation career goals. Through a variety of approaches, including self-assessment and research, students will develop an understanding of potential careers that are both realistic and rewarding, as well as create a plan to obtain relevant experience while completing their degree. The course includes hands-on activities focused on skills, values, interests, and more, that are relevant to the career exploration process. While open to undergraduate students of all class years, students are encouraged to take this course early in their time at the university to maximize opportunities to intentionally pursue related courses, gain experience, and develop career readiness competencies.
