Course Description
This class will familiarize students with important software tools that are industry standards in Interior Design such as SketchUp. Each student will create a space planning project. Moving from a floor plan to a three-dimensional interior, students will build and extrude surfaces, apply materials, and components, drop shadows, and set up views for their interiors. SketchUp also allows animated video walk throughs of your model. Having these software skills will strengthen design skills and the ability to create a professional-level drawing set.
