What Badges Can You Earn?

Individual digital badges may be earned for participating in webinars, or for completing a workshop, seminar or course. You can also earn badges that reflect completion of a full series of professional training offerings, or for completing customized training delivered virtually, on campus, or at your workplace. Each badge is designed to reflect a specific achievement.

Participation Badge

Reflects participation in a UMass Lowell Corporate Education event including webinars, seminars, symposiums, or similar learning opportunities that are free to attend and do not require participants to take any performance assessments

Professional Training Badge

Reflects completion of a specific learning goal, such as a workshop, seminar, or non-credit* course.

Contribution/Recognition Badge

Reflects participation as a presenter, facilitator, project leader or other significant contribution towards skill- and knowledge-building initiatives.

Advanced Level Training Badge

Reflects completion of a multi-component learning initiative, and/or continued progress towards the highest level of achievement attainable.

*UMass Lowell does not award digital badges for credit-bearing courses at this time.
