					Course Description
					In this course, the student will apply community health science and epidemiologic principles to poplation-based nursing practice. Students will examine social determinants of health, health disparities, and the role of policy in shaping healthcare delivery. Students will also explore the different roles of nursing in the community including health promotion, disaster prepardness, and environmental health.
