UMass Lowell offers tuition credit to students who are employed by one of UMass Lowell's approved corporate or strategic academic partners and who meet their employers' conditions for participating in the program. Eligible students will receive a credit toward each eligible course they request a credit for.
Students must submit a Tuition Credit Request Form before the start of each semester in which they plan to enroll. If the form is not received by UMass Lowell before the start of each semester, the request for tuition credit may be denied.
Students receiving tuition credit will be subject to the terms of the Student Financial Responsibility Agreement.
Step 1: Register for courses.
Step 2: Login using your UMass Lowell student email and ID to request Tuition Credit.
Step 3: Complete the secure Docusign tuition credit request form.

UMass Lowell offers tuition deferment if you are employed by one of UMass Lowell's approved corporate or strategic academic partners that meet conditions for participating in the program. If you are eligible to participate in this program, you may defer tuition payments until the completion of the semester with no finance or interest charges. You should not use this program if you use authorizations to bill or third-party vouchers to pay tuition.
You must submit a Tuition Deferment Agreement before the start of each semester. An authorized representative from your place of employment must sign the agreement. If UMass Lowell does not receive a copy of the signed agreement before the start of each semester, we may deny the request for deferment.
If you are an enrolled student in the tuition deferment program, you must pay the balance within 30 days after the last day of class. You will be subject to the terms of the Student Financial Responsibility Agreement. Please note that not all corporate, academic partners participating in UMass Lowell's tuition deferment program will reimburse you for the total cost of enrollment.
Step 1: Register for courses.
Step 2: Login using your UMass Lowell student email and ID to request Tuition Deferment.
Step 3: Complete the secure Docusign tuition deferment request form.
Once submitted and eligibility is approved, a service indicator will be placed on your SiS account confirming that the deferment is in effect for the term.
Reminder: You are encouraged to mark your calendar to adhere to the agreement and pay the balance by the 30-day deadline.
UMass Lowell may accept tuition vouchers or other authorized payment documentation from approved Tuition Program Management vendors administering an employer's tuition assistance. If you receive reimbursement directly from their employer or a Tuition Program Management vendor, you must pay the charges by the bill's due date or apply for tuition deferment.
Please note that not all corporate academic partners participating in UMass Lowell's tuition voucher program will cover the total cost of enrollment. Therefore, you are responsible for paying the balance not covered by your employer's voucher by the due date on the bill. You are subject to the terms of the Student Financial Responsibility Agreement.
