Confirmations
Seminar confirmations will be sent via
email once the minimum required
enrollment is reached, no later than
two weeks prior to the seminar start
date. Confirmations will include a
campus map and directions.

arrange payment.
Cancellations & Refunds
Registration Cancellations
Registrations must be cancelled in writing
up to 14 days prior to the seminar start date to receive a refund. There is a $75
cancellation fee. There will be no refunds
for registrations cancelled within 14 days prior to
the seminar start date.
Registrants who fail to contact the
University concerning their cancellations
will also be subject to the entire cost of
the seminar.
Cancellations by the University
Seminar fees will be fully refunded should
the University cancel due to insufficient
enrollments or any other unforeseen
circumstances. The University will not be
responsible for any other related expenses
incurred by the registrant.
Substitute Participants
Individuals who are registered but
cannot attend may send a substitute to the seminar for which they had registered at no
additional charge. Please notify Contact Corporate Education at (978) 934-2405 or corporate_education@uml.edu.
Substitute Instructors
Instructors may be substituted at the
University's discretion due to unforeseen
circumstances.
Students can be assured that if a
substitution is made, the instructor will be
a highly qualified member of the
University's faculty or a qualified plastics
industry professional.
SWITCHING SEMINAR SESSIONS OR TOPICS
Registrants who are not able to attend the seminar session they registered for and would like to switch their registration to an alternate session or topic may do so within the same calendar year if there is space in the session/topic they request. Registration cancellations must be made in writing up to 14 days prior to the start date of the seminar they registered for. There will be no refunds for registration cancellations made within 14 days prior to the seminar start date.
Registrants who are switching seminars/topics will receive a refund less the $75.00 cancellation fee for the session they are cancelling, and will then be responsible for registering online for the alternate session/topic they are requesting (if space is available).
Meals and Refreshments Included
Seminars include continental breakfast, lunch and snacks.
Tuition Waivers
UMass Lowell's Plastics Seminars are
considered Special Programs, and tuition
waivers cannot be accepted.
Continuing Education Units
CEUs and certificates of completion will be
awarded.
